Easy to use, nice format. This APP is well worth the small cost.

Great words, defs and usage. But it would benefit from better recall games. Still useful and fun (in a nerdy way).

Seemed engaging but the words are too simple. Even the expert category isnt challenging. Sorry but Im deleting it.

Plus - Good selection of words, definitions concise, word is used in a sentence; Minus - audio pronunciation very garbled and sometimes not even close to being correct, the quiz feature pretty much useless

Most of the reviews that gave this app 3 stars or less seem to be comparing the free/$0.99 app to other more expensive apps. This is a great little app for improving vocabulary at various levels. Its not a professional app, but thats not necessarily what it was made for. No, the quiz section isnt multiple choice, which makes it more difficult and you have to know the definition in your own words and grade yourself. But to me thats ok - multiple choice doesnt really test your knowledge as much just asking a question (my opinion of course). Great app for the price.

There were many things I liked on this app. This app teaches new vocabulary, along with testing you that you know the words, and understand their definitions. This application almost felt like I was playing a educational game, instead of plain old learning. There were some disadvantages about this app. This app was flooded with apps. They distracted me from what I was really supposed to do in that application. I also didnt like that you either had to buy the extra vocabulary sections, or unlock them by completing the one before it. Compared to other vocabulary apps, its okay, but can be a bit more frustrating with the ads flooding the entire screen. Overall, this application was pretty good, but had problems with ad placement and the amounts of ads.

A fun, quick way to increase vocabulary. Bookmark words to study, quiz, multi-level. I would like the sentences to be more "normal." I do not know anyone that speaks that way...maybe that says something about me.

Another one of those must-haves for the word junkie. I think its well worth the small price for upgrade, giving you the necessary words to move forward in life or if your like me you just love words.

Excellent way to easily make yourself look smart. People dont argue with someone that uses big words. Great app.

Very hard to stop taking quizzes! Words are challenging, without being impossible. I only wish there were stats.
